- All
stage/motor combinations have re-circulating ball-bearing guided lead
screws for low backlash with a choice of five thread pitch sizes,
enabling high accuracy, high speed or a compromise of the two.

- The
stages also have built-in limit switches. These stepper motor stages
have more low-speed torque and simpler electronics making them more economical,
whereas AC servo motors are more suitable in high speed situations and
are less noisy.
- The
matching driver controllers can handle up to four stages, which feature
hole patterns that enable simple incorporation into multiaxis systems or
mounting with industry standard opto-mechanical components.
- Drive
controllers can be used as programmable stand-alone units or can be
linked with PC software.
- For
higher accuracy, optional closed-loop systems with Magnescale are
available in X, Y, and Z configuration.
