The General Congress of the SFP is a unique event in France, bringing together the physics community every two years to explore the latest advancements across all areas of physics. The 2025 edition promises to be truly exceptional, with the presence of three Nobel Prize winners.
Over the course of a week, the program will feature:
- Plenary lectures covering a wide range of physics topics,
- Thematic parallel sessions,
- Round tables on major scientific and societal issues,
- “Science & Society” sessions,
- Exhibitions (posters, science outreach, Arts & Science),
- and the Quantum Village, part of the 2025 International Year of Quantum Science and Technology declared by UNESCO.
With over 650 participants expected, including one-third PhD students and postdocs, this congress is a major gathering for the physics community.
We’re excited to welcome you at our booth during the event!
